It confirms that the student is admitted to a particular University. It specifies your passport with details and the full details of the University. This invitation support letter is required by the Ukrainian Embassy to stamp the visa on your passport. Generally, it takes around 2-4 days for the visa invitation to be processed at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. You need to apply to the Ukrainian Embassy for a visa during the validity of the invitation issued.

The migration card is the document which testifies that the student has crossed the border of Ukraine. It is an obligatory document for the further processing of the student registration and hence is an important document. Without the migration card the registration on the territory of Ukraine cannot be done and the student would be deported back to the home country. The migration card is handed out by the flight attendant on the plane or is also available at the airport on arrival at the immigration department. The card consists of 2 identical parts, which are necessary to fill. At the immigration of the International airport, the immigration officer stamps the both parts of the card and retains one while the other part is handed over to the student. Before leaving the immigration desk, it is important that you check that you have received the stamped part from the officer. It is important and obligatory to retain the migration card till the departure from Ukraine..
While there is no general restriction in the weight of the luggage is brought from your hometown, it should be noted that the airlines allow 20-25 kgs of luggage to be carried free of cost. All excess luggage’s are to be paid on a Kg basis and may prove expensive. It is recommended to bring only the necessary things that are required and which you feel may not be available in Ukraine. All other things could be purchased in Ukraine. It is recommended to carry with you warm cloths like coat, boots, cap, gloves scarf etc., things of personal hygiene. For your journey in the period of September – October, you could carry with you an easy jacket, jeans, socks, and sport boots while during the winter months of November – December you would need to carry a warm coat, a sweater, warm trousers, boots, cap, and gloves.
Upon arrival, the student should pay to the University the officially established charges for the registration, which would be around US$ 10-30. In some cases the University would require the student to be re-examined for HIV or medical fitness which would cost an additional US$ 10. Validity of the HIV certificate would be 3 months.
Usually the expenses for first month of staying in Ukraine are more than those of the subsequent months. You will need about 400 USD for the first three months of staying in Ukraine. This is due to the reason that the student would need to pay the registration charges, purchase items of necessity etc. Subsequently, the average monthly expenses for food are about US$ 100-US$ 150.
Parents can send the money to the student bank account in Ukraine by the way of a wire transfer. The student is recommended to open a bank account as soon as the process of registration is completed, which normally takes around 8-14 days.
Before the arrival of the student to Ukraine, "Study in Ukraine" processes the health insurance on the behalf of the student. Within several days of the arrival to Ukraine, the insurance certificate is given to the student. The health insurance guarantees that the student gets the required medical aid in times of illness according to the program of the insurance cover. The insurance policy mentions the names and the telephone numbers of the doctors and the hospitals. The insurance company also informs THE TITANIS of the illness of the student who apply for the medical help. THE TITANIS therefore is in a position not only to monitor and supervise the condition of the student’s health but also to inform the parents of the student and keeping them informed about the progress of the student’s health. Without the health insurance it is not possible to process the registration of the student. Therefore, the health insurance is necessary and obligatory for all foreign students wishing to study in Ukraine.
The preparatory faculty is a special educational program with duration of 1 academic year (7-10 months). At the preparatory faculty students study Russian and or Ukrainian language and the special disciplines required depending on the future specialty chosen (language of science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, geography, history, and literature). After completing the preparatory faculties the student pass through an examination. In case of a successful passing of the examination, the student receives the Certificate of the preparatory faculty. This certificate gives the student a right to enter any Ukrainian university without entrance examinations. But if the student chooses training in English or French language (only for medical specialties) he/she does not need to study at the preparatory faculty, he enters directly the first year of the degree course. Studying at the preparatory faculty starts on the September, 1st, every year depending on the formation of groups. (6-8 students in group).
The program of the preparatory faculty is worked out for an ordinary level of complexity. The student who attend all the classes, carry out practical and home tasks, do not face any problems with studying in this faculty. If the student does not manage to successfully complete the preparatory faculty, he/she will have the opportunity to repeat training at the preparatory faculty at the same or other university in the next academic year. Repeating the preparatory faculty means that the student would be required to pay the tuition fees again.
THE TITANIS constantly supervises the process of studying and receives the information on the student’s academic progress on a regular basis.
In the months of April — May every year, Ukraine studies organizes an educational exhibition for the students of the preparatory faculty. Students can come to THE TITANIS office and get the information on the universities most suitable for studying according to the specialty chosen. THE TITANIS managers give the information on the universities, cost and duration of studying, help students to make a correct choice, legalize the necessary papers; carry out transfers and admission to other Universities. The fifteen-year operational experience and high professionalism of THE TITANIS guarantees performance of all the necessary procedures connected to the admission of the student for studying in any of the universities in Ukraine according to the specialty chosen.
THE TITANIS constantly supervises the process of studying and receives the information on the student’s academic progress on a regular basisAt the preparatory faculty, the program of studying is not divided into semesters; therefore winter vacations are not stipulated. At the end of January the students who have successfully passed all tests have one week of rest. Students who have academic debts try to pass through their tests again. Summer vacations last 2 months, from July, 1 till August, 31 every year. As for the degree course (5 years), winter vacations last 2 weeks from the last week of January till the first week of February every year. Summer vacations are the same as at the preparatory faculty — from July, 1st till August, 31st every year.p>
It was a good option to study MBBS in china in the earlier years. Due to overcrowded students and limited year to finish the course the quality of education has gone down off late. China was one of the most popular and best destinations to pursue Medicine abroad for Indian Students. It is not the situation now.
Why?
1. Overcrowded
2. Quality of education has lowered
3. NO of pass percentage in the MCI has been decreased.
4. But still it has not gone to its worst state. It still is a choice to be hold to
If you are looking for a low cost and quality education it is the best place to purse your medicine. Ukraine has some of Europe’s oldest medical universities rendering education for about 50 plus years. The highly economical cost of education along with advanced training methodology has made it a favourite for most Indians since the past few years. Being a European country make it a favourite destination of studying MBBS in abroad. YES it is right to pursue MBBS in Ukraine.
After completing your MBBS in abroad you’ll have to write the MCI exam in India. Why the MCI exam??? Only when you write and clear the MCI exam you’ll be provided a registration number which approves that you are eligible to practice Medicine throughout India. If you are planning not return to India and pursue abroad it is another better option too.
See this depends on many things. And most importantly you should consider these 3.
1. Your budget.
2. The Structure of Medical education.
3. Living standards of the particular country.
Rest all the reasons are secondary and they don't matter much.
I’ve not included China as I’ve seen the decline in the quality as well as MCI has recognized most of the universities and those universities that are good are very expensive but still their quality is not up to that level.
Also about Russia, there is a big language problem as they teach only in Russian for last 3 years. Hence, I’ll give you and explain you a bit more about the better options that you have.
1. Budge is really very crucial in deciding your destination. If you want the most economical then it has to be the Philippines as you won't get everything over there and you've to compromise with some things for sure because you just can't get everything. When you are paying the least, you can expect the best. Hope you're getting my point. If you have no issues with the budget then, Georgia would be the best choice for you. But if you want to go with the affordable option then Ukraine has an edge over all the countries.
Preference according to budget would be
Philippines > Ukraine > Georgia.
2. Structure of Medical education. By this I mean the number of years you have to study there for the MBBS. In Philippines it's 1.5+3+1, Basic sciences, MD and then internship respectively. As they'reteaching all medical subjects in just 3 years in Philippines it becomes very difficult to cope up with the curriculum. For Georgia it's like 5+1, MD program is of 5 years and then 1 year internship and there also you've to study a lot to match up with the academics and your self-studies and nowadays some of the universities in Georgia have started merging their curriculum with the USMLE database which helps students for their PG studies. In Ukraine its 6 years of MD, why I prefer this is because it is pretty much relaxed if you want to concentrate more on your self-studies and your PG preparation or FMGE. You get enough time to manage everything.
Preference according to structure of Medical education would be:
Georgia > Ukraine > Philippines.
3. Living standards: It certainly is very important because it is directly proportional to the resources and exposure you'll get whilst studying and staying there. None of these country is super developed but I can for sure give you an idea to make up an image and think accordingly. Ukraine being in the western side has more influence of European Union. Infrastructure is surely world class and you get all sorts of facilities over here. The opportunities and luxury which you get to attend the medical conferences all over the European Union countries is a great thing to experience and cherish when you are in your undergraduate course. I did exactly the same and these are the things that distinguish you from others. Georgia is a blend of Soviet Union and European infrastructure and now they are even incorporating the latest technologies. For Philippines it's just ok as you can't expect much after paying that much but in the best universities like Emilio and Perpetual they are good to consider if you only want Philippines.
Preference according to the exposure and infrastructure should be like:
Ukraine > Georgia > Philippines
To sum it up I can say that,
If you are very tight in budget then opt for Philippines,
If you have no problem with the finances and ample money then Georgia is the best option for you,
But if you want a great quality in affordable price then Ukraine is waiting for you.

1. Top most national university when you consider all other NATIONAL universities. There are 3 types of universities in Ukraine. National, State and private. National ones have better track record, infrastructure and funding’s from the government for research and development. Almost every month some research program takes place in my university and national level medical conferences are also very common here. So, if you'reInterested in making your CV Barringer and better than anyone else than this is the place for you.
2. 100% English medium of education. You just can't find any other University where almost all the teachers and professors have such a good grip on English making it easier for students. People say medium of education is English but let me tell you that is not the case. Only 50–60% of the teachers know and speak good English is all of the other universities. I've seen that by myself.
3. No corruption at all. My university is super strict for this, they've a set of rules and they work according to that. If they catch anyone paying or even trying to bribe any teacher or anything of that sort than they (authorities) will expel you and depot you directly back to your home country at that very moment. Deans' office is pretty much serious for these things because in other universities such practices are very common.
4. Education standards: This is something which you've to experience by yourself and ask your friends from different universities to know the level of education and sincerity which they have. We have 18 different hospitals attached to my university and all of them have different subjects and setups. In my university it's impossible to survive if you don't want to study anything. There are at max 12 students in 1 group which lets your teacher give you an individual attention.
5. Hostel: On campus university hostel which is very clean, cozy and comfortable for anyone who wants to stay peacefullyin hostel. There are 3 full-fledged hostels. If you want to rent an apartment you can do that as well they are also very affordable but that is advised after 2–3 years once you know local people and get acquainted to the place.
6. City and living standards: My city Vinnitsa is just 2 hours from the capital city of Kyiv. This is the home city of Ukrainian President Poroshenko so you can imagine the development of it. No Racism of any sort. Local people over here love to see and gel up with the foreigners. That is not the case with many of the cities.
Yes surely, you can get settle down in Ukraine as you are going to completed MBBS in Ukraine. Ukraine is ranked the 4th most educated nation in the world and in producing post-secondary graduate students in Europe. The higher level of education system is globally renowned for its quality and it’s a privilege for students to complete their post-graduation studies like MBBS in Ukraine as it has a very promising future. Ukraine is one of the friendly countries which encourages the international education among the other countries by offering many benefits to the foreign students like

Due to the high cost of Education in India. The cost of pursuing MBBS in India is reaching crores to finish a course. It is better to do your studies abroad.
