Good Options to do MBBS

MBBS students thrown out of colleges are ‘depressed, don’t have strength to write NEET again’

Is it a good option to do my MBBS in China?

It was a good option to study MBBS in china in the earlier years. Due to overcrowded students and limited year to finish the course the quality of education has gone down off late. China was one of the most popular and best destinations to pursue Medicine abroad for Indian Students. It is not the situation now.
Why?
1. Overcrowded
2. Quality of education has lowered
3. NO of pass percentage in the MCI has been decreased.
4. But still it has not gone to its worst state. It still is a choice to be hold to

Is it right to pursue MBBS in Ukraine?

If you are looking for a low cost and quality education it is the best place to purse your medicine. Ukraine has some of Europe’s oldest medical universities rendering education for about 50 plus years. The highly economical cost of education along with advanced training methodology has made it a favourite for most Indians since the past few years. Being a European country make it a favourite destination of studying MBBS in abroad. YES it is right to pursue MBBS in Ukraine.

I am an Indian, studying MBBS in Ukraine, after completing MBBS what can I do?

After completing your MBBS in abroad you’ll have to write the MCI exam in India. Why the MCI exam??? Only when you write and clear the MCI exam you’ll be provided a registration number which approves that you are eligible to practice Medicine throughout India. If you are planning not return to India and pursue abroad it is another better option too.

Where should I choose to do an MBBS: Georgia, Ukraine, China or the Philippines?

See this depends on many things. And most importantly you should consider these 3.
1. Your budget.
2. The Structure of Medical education.
3. Living standards of the particular country.
Rest all the reasons are secondary and they don't matter much.
I’ve not included China as I’ve seen the decline in the quality as well as MCI has recognized most of the universities and those universities that are good are very expensive but still their quality is not up to that level.
Also about Russia, there is a big language problem as they teach only in Russian for last 3 years. Hence, I’ll give you and explain you a bit more about the better options that you have.
1. Budge is really very crucial in deciding your destination. If you want the most economical then it has to be the Philippines as you won't get everything over there and you've to compromise with some things for sure because you just can't get everything. When you are paying the least, you can expect the best. Hope you're getting my point. If you have no issues with the budget then, Georgia would be the best choice for you. But if you want to go with the affordable option then Ukraine has an edge over all the countries. Preference according to budget would be Philippines > Ukraine > Georgia. 2. Structure of Medical education. By this I mean the number of years you have to study there for the MBBS. In Philippines it's 1.5+3+1, Basic sciences, MD and then internship respectively. As they'reteaching all medical subjects in just 3 years in Philippines it becomes very difficult to cope up with the curriculum. For Georgia it's like 5+1, MD program is of 5 years and then 1 year internship and there also you've to study a lot to match up with the academics and your self-studies and nowadays some of the universities in Georgia have started merging their curriculum with the USMLE database which helps students for their PG studies. In Ukraine its 6 years of MD, why I prefer this is because it is pretty much relaxed if you want to concentrate more on your self-studies and your PG preparation or FMGE. You get enough time to manage everything.

Preference according to structure of Medical education would be:
Georgia > Ukraine > Philippines.
3. Living standards: It certainly is very important because it is directly proportional to the resources and exposure you'll get whilst studying and staying there. None of these country is super developed but I can for sure give you an idea to make up an image and think accordingly. Ukraine being in the western side has more influence of European Union. Infrastructure is surely world class and you get all sorts of facilities over here. The opportunities and luxury which you get to attend the medical conferences all over the European Union countries is a great thing to experience and cherish when you are in your undergraduate course. I did exactly the same and these are the things that distinguish you from others. Georgia is a blend of Soviet Union and European infrastructure and now they are even incorporating the latest technologies. For Philippines it's just ok as you can't expect much after paying that much but in the best universities like Emilio and Perpetual they are good to consider if you only want Philippines. Preference according to the exposure and infrastructure should be like:
Ukraine > Georgia > Philippines To sum it up I can say that, If you are very tight in budget then opt for Philippines, If you have no problem with the finances and ample money then Georgia is the best option for you, But if you want a great quality in affordable price then Ukraine is waiting for you.
